Makes me debate painting D pillar white and uncovering the b and c pillars. Did you paint it or is it vinyl?

I did indeed paint them. I also did my mirror plastics covers white. It turned out good. Little wet sanding and a rattle can. Fyi, rustolium white is pretty close to our summit.

My mirrors are all scuffed up.I removed the covers and the piller plastics to paint them, just so I could get a good scuff on the edges

Have u had a problem with Wobblie mirrors? My drives side one was, when I took off the covers to paint them I tryed to reset the little lock ring thing and I went in for a close look and it randomly shot off the pin and blasted me in the forehead... Then the ring disappeared in the leaves. I'm assuming it's from to many tree folds. I rigged some crap up( hammered screws in the spring) so it wouldn't fall off and the vibe stopped but now my passenger sides doing it. Any tips? I tryed putting a socket over the pin to push the spring down and let that lock ring grab lower on the pin but it failed..

0222141642a.jpg

Phase 1 of the cheapo radiator protection hardware.
Hides behind the bumper cover.

With the cover on...

Phase 2 will be to attach some more armor running back to mate up with the oil pan skid. Don't have a bender, so will probably weld some ears at an angle at front and rear of plate so make for a neat slope on the skid.
