I am a new member and have a 02 Trailblazer LT 4wd, looking to build it into a bad machine. Its stock right now, but as it is paid off and I have other vehicles as DD, so the sky is the limit (but on an active duty military budget lol). During my last deployment, I have checked out countless member rides for ideas/ inspiration and Im ready to get started on this next project. Ive been looking at Marks 3" suspension and 3" body lifts, MDB Fab bumpers, and havent really nailed down what wheel tire combo I wanna go with yet.
My 3 inch lift kit comes in 1st week of April and will be on Pulaski barracks Auto skills center to work on my TB.
You are more than welcome to join me on my first modification. I am trying to find a good shop in the K-town area to Fabricate my front and rear bumpers. Again, strict rules here in Germany regarding bumpers and fender coverage for tires as well.
Hi k8r1,
You are under the same strict street law rules here in germany? That is interesting, I never have thought that military stuff from the u.s. has the same rules for the german TÜV.
Would be interesting what comes out for the front and the rear bumpers.

Karsten my GSXR-1000 failed the sound test by .5 decibel, flush mounted lights no-go, integrated signal lights no-go, rear-fender no-go......
now for off-road vehicles----tires cannot come out further than your fenders, Stinger bumpers are a hit and miss though-----we get inspected on Military post by civilian that specializes on German rules---also sound test as well on your exhaust, must have cats in, two front windows will not have any tint, and the list goes on....
TIRES-----The minimum legal tire tread depth for Germany is 1.6mm, although ADAC recommends 4mm for winter driving. Other countries have more stringent requirements – Austrian law mandates 4mm minimum tread depth for winter tires, and other European countries have distinct winter driving laws as well. MUST have MS(mud and snow) symbol---------
