You can do a suspension lift and run 33s. Then you don't have to worry about a body lift and will look and function better.jamese35 wrote:I am big in to off roading and I want to run 33-35inch tires which means I need a body lift. I know I need to shim out the rims so they don't hit. I'm just wondering about the steering now. Thanks for your help. I'm sorry my typing sucks and my phone messes me up a lot because I have big fingers

There are a number of folks running 33's and bigger. However, I don't think anyone did a body lift only and slapped 35's on their rig and tried to off road it.
But we don't know anything about this guys truck and he says he likes offroad and Donny was fully locked.dvanbramer88 wrote:mikekey wrote:

Donny almost did it. The front needs a little help on top of the body lift.
89's + top spacer + 3" bodylift = 35s
I am pretty sure you have to trim the fender steel so you don't rub and you need the right gearing also.Moots1288 wrote:You can do a suspension lift and run 33s. Then you don't have to worry about a body lift and will look and function better.
Well as we stated we dont know much about his vehicle, and I did some trimming and I'm running 33s on 3.73TBYODA wrote:I am pretty sure you have to trim the fender steel so you don't rub and you need the right gearing also.Moots1288 wrote:You can do a suspension lift and run 33s. Neither of these comments add to the thread, you're discussing semantics that are asides to the main points we're making here. And as Moots stated twice now some more information from the OP would be helpful in pointing him in the right direction.
