Some surprise snow here in MD... About 5" worth!

:safari:

Image

Nice and cold temperatures... 13* all day. :camping:

Image

Hit a local dirt road... no challenges, just nice to know my 4wd is finally working!

This is one of my new little goodies... the hi-lift neoprene jack cover (http://www.hi-lift.com/accessories/jack-cover.html). I finally realized the necessity of this product last month. Every time I took the jack out, I had to oil it (those of you that store your jack outside your vehicle know what I'm talking about.) So I found this great product... now, zip... and the jack is ready to use!

Just a little more exploring...

Now it's time for pizza and beer. :chef:

NICE! Think this is the first I've seen the JD-mobile in the snow...

hoegaarden, not a fan... would have taken a Sam's Winter Lager instead... :friday:

I try to get out and play every time it snows... happened to snap a few pictures this time.

Not a fan of the Hoe? It's one of my favorites... That, XX, Blue Moon, and Mich Ultra AMBER are my go-to beers. Sadly, few places carry them.

Blue Moon is good. I'm into just about every Sam's variety out there. When in a pinch, Yuengling will do just fine as well.

whats sad is....virginia and maryland....even coastal southern virginia has more snow than michigan,we've barely had any this year, its not even half of our average.

i see grass poking through the snow....i shouldnt be able to see my knees when i step into the snow!

good pics,i like them.

Same deal here in Toronto, i mean damn it gets cold and shit. But there is not as much snow as usual. Maybe even less then half the normal amount.

So it makes me think, are we in for a long violent ending winter? Or is this just gona drag it self out with half ass snowfall and seasonal conditions.

Sadly, I had to winch out of my parking spot. The rest of the roads are ok now... just a few inches.

JD... you had to winch yourself out? Sounds excessive, maybe you were just making an excuses to use the winch? I mean after all its just snow, a little back and forth will do wonders.

I had already 'back-and-forth'ed a bit... and slid about 2 feet sideways putting the rear of my truck about 2" from the car next to me. So... I guess that was my excuse... :safe:

You need an excuse to test your winch? :raspberry:

Sliding sideways and being 2" from a real loose 4000' dropoff was what got my attention on Wheeler Ridge with Teebes a couple of years ago. Winch - do your thing!
