Well, I was out crawling around the underside of my truck earlier, and I was thinking, how hard would it be to fab up 2 brackets to drop the front diff down the 2 inches needed to get the thing out of the oil pan, you could even put a tube in between the 2 sides and just slide it up there, bolt it on then bolt up the factoy diff/carrier assembly. I know we would still have the ball joints limiting the amount of lift, but less angle=less stress on CV and bearings. Any ideas? I know other vehicles lift kits have diff drop brackets, whats so different about our platform?
