Hey Neil, any chance in the near future you can come up with a set of spring retainers for the rear. If i get you disco's the added articulation runs the risk of the springs coming off of the perch.

I know these may be a tiny bit over kill. but the peace of mind is nice. I guess I could always get limiting straps. But they are ugly.

Ya, but i think there is a pic and write up on the expo site showing those flat tabs bending. I thought Neil may have a better idea.

What I would really like is a metal front bumper. Nothing real heavy or doesnt need to be super heavy duty. Not a thick ass winch bumper, just a solid mounting point for lights and better than the stock platic. Maybe tubes with some sheet metal filler. Fairly light so shipping wont kill it. 4-500 would be a good price point I think.

I am thinking of Jeep bumpers that while not the strongest when not set up for a winch, but something that helps approach angle and something that looks decent while functioning for light mount. Maybe an option for a bar--like a pushbar to box the lights.

How about a bumper that keeps lightweight and has the strength built up in one center spot between the frame rails that can have a receiver and shackles attached.

I also have another idea that involves a stock TB bumper, and using the top half to keep light weight, cutting the black plastic off an lt and replacing it with metal. It would raise ground clearance and create a good place for a receiver and shackles. Basically a strong and rigid skid plate.

I am wanting to get a light bar put on my truck, but I do not really want to put it on the roof like everyone else. I am looking for something like the below picture that can be easily mounted, maybe to the tow hook area, with 4 mounting tabs across the top and maybe two mounting tabs on the bottom. All round tubing is fine by me. It won't be a recover point, just something to hold some lights. I plan on keeping the tow hooks as well. Please PM me a price and any questions you have.
