Help with shocks

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

More talk on the N8030s are in this thread, viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1747&start=60 It is about 7/16" washers that are needed and about the same thickness on each side to fill. I have been running them for over 2 years so far and they have done quite well. I like the idea of the nylon spacers but at the time when I got the shocks to try I could not find any spacers to fit the bill. I wanted to keep the shocks from sliding side to side any longer then necessary.

I would strongly recommend getting in on the group buy for the radflos. You will find after some time with the general lifts that are recommended that you wish you got them.

But all the other suggestions you've gotten are solid. Read more, and weigh the options.

I fail to believe this yet and am going to personally try both traditional lift vs the coilovers over some time and terrain before telling people to spend their money on a suspension setup that between the two sets currently in use have only been offroad a handful of times. Their is a 3rd set out there but not sure it ever got used offroad. Really hope these radflo coilovers are not like the icon and fail when pushed hard consistently offroad. I do reserve my recommendations for or against them until I own and use each setup.

OP....make sure you read all the threads about the radflo before jumping in. No different lengths or spring rates have been tried. They do have some documented use but not real extensive.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

I'm basing my suggestion purely on the difference in ride from my truck to Moots, and the better durability between his and mine, the ride difference is night and day better off-road and on. While there is, without a doubt, a lack of really long term testing, Moots has had his on for a year or so now. During that time I've seen his truck completely airborne without any problem from the radflos... the rear shock relocation bracket is another story...
Not as dramatic, but he's had the front end in the air more times than I can count and when I was replacing broken front Bilsteins his radflos were just fine.

I'm reasonably confident that they'll be fine from a durability standpoint. While Moots hasn't been off-road with them dozens of times, he's never been anything remotely close to easy on them. At the end of the day only time will tell. A couple years from now we should have a huge experience base.
