Otherwise no problems here, had em on for 6 months or so now with not one problem. And IIRC I believe the wheeladapter guy changed the thickness to 1.5" so there should be no modding involved, but don't quote me on that.
EZeccessory is the company to steer away from. The Roadie was the one who got his first spacers from them, and he had to fix their machining errors.
Huh?? I have the Wheel Adapters and I installed them myself with no grinding. I've driven all the way to Florida and back to California again with no problem at all. I'm not disagreeing with you, I just don't really get what you mean and am curious to know more. Maybe I'm sitting on a time bomb???
ETA: If I remember correctly I have the 1.5" size. But this raises another question because I bought these spacers from Fred over 2 years now and they were 1.5" way back then. So what do you mean he changed the size? When?
