I didn't get any data but as time moves forward I'll make visual observations. I'll be making a long haul to Virginia soon so I'll be sure to check on it then.

No - I'm going down to Virginia Beach in 2 weeks for some final steps before I get a final job offer. I would like to go on tecore, though - I just need to finish fixing the front end (4WD, shocks/springs and the hideous bumper).

I will say that it is running hotter than usual and the fan is on a lot...it's putting a huge drain on my battery. It may just be that the battery is shot, but still.

A lot of people have said the same thing about the Efan and the drainage, that's why JonA got a high out put alternator. I thought you loved your bumper? Hah

Seen other threads on those bumpers lately and that they are almost rusting from inside out.

Any chance of getting to them from underneath, maybe remove a skid plate or use a long wire?
The problem with the Trailblazer is, people think you know what you're doing.

Why is the truck locked after popping the hood? Or did the button get pressed when you dropped the hood?

looks like it has a plastic clip on the end of the playstation necklace, so even if he could get it from the bottom he wouldn't be able to pull it through the gap between the hood and fender.

I would guess he popped the hood to check something real quick, locked the truck, then opened the hood and realized he needed both hands so he set the keys down, saw what he needed to, shut the hood, then said "damn". I'm even more amused that the keys are right by where the hood prop snaps into place.

I've gotten in the habit of leaving the windows down if I do any work on the truck.

it looks like the TB is sticking its tongue out at you. Its been a while since I have pulled the grille, but can we access the hood latch that way?

That is EXACTLY how it happened; I just used a different expletive.

I wanted to check my coolant before heading in for the night and just as you said, I popped the hood and locked the truck. As I went to shut the hood the keys got caught and went down with the hood as I was holding it up with my one hand and had the keys around my other.

Oh well! Thank God my grandparents live close enough to come over with the spare set!

Nice man. First shot of your truck I've seen. I like it.
