Just because it looks different doesn't mean it will perform differently. If you're seriously at 3/16s tread, the trail is going to laugh at your tires, cut or not. You MIGHT get lucky once and awhile and have one of the remaining lugs catch a rock and grip. However passenger rated tires are so soft that you'll most likely just tear the lug.
Those tires street manners are now officially terrible, guaranteed. I wouldn't run them much past 30mph. People don't generally cut tires that will ever see street time.
Go buy some new tires and leave the hot knife for some worn out Boggers next time.
Edit: I see you've only destroyed one tire so far. But, you started doing this without being able to afford real replacements.

Put your spare on and save some money up. CL has used tires all the time.
