It's not a fully linked rear. Guys use track bars on leaf rear suspensions so that when they do HUGE lift blocks, the axle doesn't wrap under load, and break the drive shaft.

I'm aware, however I don't see a front spring hanger and I do see another yellow bit that looks like an upper link. Need more pics to be sure.
Also wonder if it has a front driveline.

That's true. And I usually have 3 or 4 tarps in the tool box when I camp. If it rains, one under the tent so a river doesn't flow through it, one under the rain fly, and one or two more for anything really. It's a good thing you actually had a tarp or two.
But it definatly was educational, that's for sure. Glad the misses hung in there.
