You're swaying my trying to rest before the trip time.

Fixed it for what you really wanted the time for...

I thought this was a vacation? Not "hey lets carry all this heavy film equipment up a hill"

I mean the video came out awesome. But is it worth all the effort and extra stops?

How you view it all depends on how you enjoy spending your time and what you want out of this trip.

If you're just going on this trip to relax, then you probably chose poorly.

I don't really consider it solely a vacation, the word adventure fits better in my mind.

That is true. For someone like you who enjoys making quality videos, it's just another part of the hobby. I understand that. I do appreciate the quality of video a system like that can produce. Don't get me wrong. I'm just kinda playing devils advocate while everyone is begging for you to bring it.

If you do bring it, I'd defiantly like to check it out, And i'd definatly help you set it up and move it if you need the help.

For me, I love driving as it is, and I really love trail riding through the woods. For me, that is relaxing. That's all I need to get out of this trip.

I'll help carry too. Hell me and Roy can carry and you can direct us.

Adventure is what I'm in for. Just being on the road is restoration for me.

Hope nothing blows up and North Korea can keep it in their pants, at least until after TECORE. That would throw a serious wrench in our going. Grrrrr......crazy dictators always make a mess of things.

That's right... sorry, they're all running together now. There was a lot of greenery that spring. This spring I'm not sure we'll see any. Maybe some early buds.

For some reason your comment gave me a good reminder... fuses. Last trip I blew one in the slider and had everyone checking their vehicles for a match (it was one of those old school glass cylindrical ones). I'll have to pick up a few extras just in case...

What size? I have a bunch of them around. Our trolling motor uses a 30A and they're hard to find singly. So we always buy the variety pack if we need them in a pinch. I should be able to find a handful of 15A or 20A ones. If not, they're easy enough to find in stores.

James, I found a couple packs of 10A fuses. They're yours if you can use them.

Looks like we might hit some rain on Friday. 70% chance for the area. Hopefully it does rain a little bit so it won't be as dusty as last year.

Otherwise we're looking at 60* days and 40* nights.

Sounds pretty good to me.

Last year Josh and I ended up packing his at 10pm on Thursday night. This week, I'm off Thursday so I will have plenty of time to pack the truck.

Looks like we're leaving Thursday mid-afternoon or as soon as Mike can leave work. Had to take off Wednesday afternoon to get the truck to the fab shop to get the sliders and Baja rack mounted. Hopefully Thursday won't be anything more than a trip to the DMV and putting food together before hitting the road.

Hard to tell right now. I'm seeing conflicting reports. Some are implying that the rain will hit Thursday night, and basically be gone by Friday. My bet is that we'll hit rain that morning, but it will clear up halfway through Friday. Should make for some sloppier trails at least.

Also, while Friday night should be on the warm side at 35-40ish, Saturday night will be much colder, at around 25-20.

Moots told me this morning he ain't making it. I PMd Kevin earlier but haven't heard back yet.

James, I'm in better shape to carry shit around, I'll be more than happy to give you a hand as well.

JorDanee, I haven't been able to find any of those Hoffman dogs outside of NJ and an hour and a half away oddly enough. Doesn't look like I'll be passing through NJ when anything is open. Sorry guys.
