Why do you want springs?

I am replacing my rear springs for z71 tahoe I tough I have to replace my front springs too, i will install skid plates for the oil pan an radiator but I will keep the same bumper

you were doing so well with your writing when you were asking specific questions. But anything that gets over a twitter post you can't do.
You tryin to be hard bro? Sayin you gotta replace front springs cause you tough? shit don't got nothin to do with being tough. :finger:

guys have done all sorts of combos, I've even seen guys run rear spacers on the top and bottom of the spring. You can do whatever. I got the Z71s cause I tend to load up several hundred pounds in the back and it helps. Some guys like HARDTRAILZ hate the Z71s. Lot's of guys stick with stock springs. The more you post somewhat coherent sentences the more I get the impression that you would probably be best off leaving the stock springs in. Once you start getting above that you have the possibilities of running into some real troubles that YOU have to figure out.

You got to read, and read a lot. Or you can spend money and cry when it ain't what you pictured because everyone was telling you what they thought you might want. Go to the build threads and look at pictures, read the hundreds of threads here to get a grasp of what's going on. Read ALL the stickies, when you don't see a term you recognize do a search and read the dozen threads on it. It's a lot to read. But it makes you capable. If you find a build you like, copy it. It's not hard. If you want blaze a new trail, be ready for a lot of pain.

You do know what happens if you smash the radiator skid good and have a front bumper don't you?

You'll get some help if you continue having blatant disregard for forming a readable sentence. But the majority are going to ignore you.

Well I like to go z71 because I load heavy stuff on the back (not my mother in law lol) I like the front the way it is but I was a little confused about 83 86 89's

Maybe get a .5" spacer from Mark for the front to make up for some of the lift in the rear?

What Dustin is saying though is if you get Z71 springs, it will add another inch or so lift in the rear and you'll have more rake. He is suggesting add a little more lift in the front to even it out.

3" in the front is about all you can get. You can do a small spring lift without too much issue, but a top spacer + a 3" lift spells trouble for the tripod joint.

Actually I guess a 3" lift in the front with 2" spacers in the rear, with the additional 1" from the z71's would just about put it at factory rake

Which is why I only have a 1.5" spacer in the back with 2.5" up front. ;)

If you haul or tow anything of significant weight I highly recommend the Z71 springs as a minimum. I know Kyle has the Skyjacker C25 springs and like them better.
