What did you do to your GMT today?

Oil, air filter, fuel filter change. Need to get a longer extension so I can do my O2 sensors. Switching toolboxes in my truck and some cleaning.

People who like to do things in half the time. 3inch lift is installed. Onto other projects, like finishing the roof rack and the rock sliders. Then we have both a front and a rear bumper to fab up.

Ordered my tires today and re-installed our front sway bar. Think I'm going to attempt to fab up some quick disconnects. Hopefully the tires will arrive by Thursday so we can get them mounted, balanced and installed on the weekend. Because cutting will be involved.

Still fighting with my shift kit, one issue after another. Fixed the no 1st and 4th issue, now, Im lackin 4th gear...

At least it runs in 3rd gear with the torque converter locked, no more getting hot with the TC unlocked.

I had problems with ours too, 2-3 and 1-2. Ended up rebuilding the whole transmission.

Mine isn't the trans, but the shift kit I just put in. Trans only has around 25000 miles on it.

Yeah, I installed a Transgo Stage 2 Shift Kit along with corvette servo, which lead to me rebuilding the Transmission a week later. Transmission was fine before I decided to tweak it. First time I've had that happen with a shift kit, I've done 3 before in the past without a hitch.

Replaced thermostat yesterday and then cross threaded the coolant temp sensor cause its in a shitty spot on a 06.

Got the Driveshaft disconnected and the drivers side Caliper and Rotor removed.
Anyone got any tips on removing a rusted Caliper Bolt? The top caliper bolt on the right side wont budge. I torched it, soaked it in PBblaster, smacked the living daylights out of it, I've gotten as much leverage as I can on it and it still wont budge...

Today I took the money the new owner of my Chevy gave me to the bank so I could make one final payment on it. Should get the title in the mail within a couple weeks and will have the new owner pick it up and she will no longer be mine.

Are there calipers on your new axle?

I don't know when I called they didn't say. So I'm assuming its just the whole axle assembly minus the brake parts.. So I'm salvaging the Calipers and Rotors.

This is what the INFO is on the axle
ABS,4.2L,4X4,AAM,4.10RATIO OPEN

I did not take caliper apart cause I did not want to bleed brakes. Calipers are all the same. Just unbolt and ziptie out of way then rehook.

Or did you mean the bolt holding caliper on?

The bolt that holds the Calipers on. I'm doing exactly what you did. Unbolting them and zip tieing em out of the way. Anyhow I just got the bolt.... I was actually tightening it :facepalm:

Lots of heat, PB blaster and muscle did the trick!!
