Axle Swap Driveshaft?

If this isn't in the right spot mods please move to appropriate spot. On to my question. I've been doing some reading in the chiltons manual on different things regaurding my upcoming axle swap. I was going through on how to remove the driveshaft and it said to make a reference mark on where the shaft attaches to the pinion flange. Well with swaping out the rear axle I will not have the mark on the flang. So how am I to know what is the right way to reconnect the driveshaft? Make sense?

I just winged it. One way *might* have a bit less vibration after an axle swap, but offroading junk tends to vibrate on a good day, so I would not sweat it.

You will never know where it would have been aigned, however I have never had an issue in the dozens of rearends I have swapped in vehicles over the years.

I've had the same experiences as Kyle, at worst I've rotated the drive shaft 180 to eliminate vibrations.

Since there's no slip joint in the middle of our driveshafts (it's at the back of the t-case instead) it's really not an issue.

As long as your driveshaft is phased correctly it won't make a difference when you connect the flanges
