How much lift from marc's 3" & moog 81114

I have the moog 81114 installed and I got like 2" of lift. You and in marc's 3" lift and that puts you to at least at 5". I thought that around 4" was about max. Going through the builds and I noticed quit a few guys are running this combo. Anyone run into any problems? Looking to put lift in next but been looking at RC's 2" when I saw that people were going with the 3" kit.

It might be worth it to run them a few weeks and see if they settle in a little.

I'm pretty sure that the two changes don't add together to total 5". They interact. As long as you don't lengthen the strut with external spacers, you're just trading up travel for a higher resting height.

I sit at about 4" of lift after the springs settled with this combination. It's not the most forgiving setup. You can really feel the front end slam back down into the ground when going over anything.

Is anyone running the moogs with the bds or RC lift. Would it be anymore forgiving. I am just wondering if the strut is limiting the lift and I would get the same 4" of lift with a 2" lift kit and maybe the ride would be a little more forgiving.

BDS and RC lifts are only 2" so you would have a little more room before topping out.

and with the RC lift or Mark's original lift you could add a top spacer later to get another ~1/2 if you find that it isn't causing problems.

Can you not add the .5 spacer to the BDS lift.

I'm unsure with the BDS lift. Mark's original lift comes with the spacer and I was able to add the same spacer to my RC lift so I know it works for them.

From the pics it looks like the bolts for the BDS lift are removable so you should be able to use a top spacer with it as well.
Like with the RC kit you might have to add longer bolts.

I think that's what I should've started out at with the 2" lift and the moogs then just add the spacer if need be ..However when Mark introduced his 3" I couldn't resist, I have noticed my front springs are sagging a bit ( factory) after reading and reading I'm going to outfit with the 81114 and finally switch the back with the z's and and the 5100 ..

With my brush guard if I find that there's not enough weight I have a 60 lb bar I'm going to place under the lip to add some weight until my bumper is done that should add alittle weight if need be ..

I've been running the 2.5 and MOOGS for awhile now and I top out if going over a quick small hill in the road. However with the winch upfront it's smooth. You'll need the bar I think.
