I'll bite.

The first page is good. Read and understand it, The Roadie has a good post on page 9. Decide which one you want, hopefully you can figure out which one you have. You'll probably want something around an "86" Call up MOOG and tell them you want a spring for this application and this spring rate and this length. Than They'll give you a part number.

I am using stock springs with MarKMc 3" lift and I do top out but I am sure it is not as bad as with stiffer springs.

How do you like the ride of a stock spring? Better?

Without knowing what your stock springs were, and without knowing what springs are on the truck now, nobody is going to be able to tell you much of anything because we have nothing to compare anything to. If you could tell us "I had 82s stock and the ride was wonderful and now I have 87s and the lift and it sucks" we could maybe point you in the right direction.

GreyMatter is using his stock springs (83s I believe) with the 3" lift. It's stiff and he does occasionally top out I'm sure. Moots1288 2.5" lift and his 89s (with rad/oil pan skid) tops out frequently.
Obviously the more weight you have up front the more desirable the heavier springs are. My 89s with the 3" lift and no armor was constantly topping out, with armor and a bumper they rarely do. I didn't hate the ride either way, but it is better now.

Chris,

I have always loved the ride of the TB so I was reluctant to go to stiffer springs just yet. I have not had a lot of seat time since my bump steer fix. So I am not sure I will stay with the stock springs with the ride height I have now. But before I go to stiffer springs, I will be looking at a stiffer sway bar.

This is why i linked the thread I did. It has some insight how to identify the springs you have. So hopefully you could figure out what springs you had. And you know what the factory ones were through RPO codes in the glove box. Which is also discussed around here.
