What are your Winter Plans for your Truck?

I plan on putting mine up for the winter. QD Endlinks, Taillight Gaurds, CB Radio and other odds and ends are on my list. I might start searching for a Locked 8.6" axle with either 3:73s or 4:10s for this spring/summer. The QDs and CB Radio are deffinitly getting done this winter.

quick discos and frnot bumper modifications for me too. I'm also leaning towards buying a welder to start doing my own projects. I've never struck an arc before so it should be an interesting winter.

I plan to hunt with mine :-)

On this new property I am leasing the 4X4 is pretty much required, especially if I am trailering my quad.

The winter is when I use the Roadiemobile MORE. Desert nighttime temps just got down to 60, making it easier to sleep. Since Anza-Borrego is only 1 3/4 hour away, it's actually closer than many of the mountains I hit in the summer.

I fixed everything up before the weather turned nasty. Now I can just drive it. Hoping maybe we'll actually have a winter here this year instead of the extended fall we've gotten for the past few.

It seems like we usually have summer, 2 weeks of fall, winter and then 2 weeks of spring before summer rolls in again.
We've already had more fall than I usually recall.

I'm just hoping we have a winter.... Last year was a joke, I want another 2010 winter where we had 90" just in December. Fantastic year for snowboarding.

for my tb, replace driver side window and regulator, fix t-case leak, redo my traction bars, hopefully finish the rear of my cage.

And, build a hot-rod, make my camaro faster, upgrades on the tow rig, etc. gonna be a busy winter.

I'll be happy if I get time to pull my front diff and rebuild it. The last two gear oil changes have yielded a shiny sparkly fluid, and non-friendly noises are occurring now when turning in 4x4.

If funds become available I would love to completely replace the power and drive-train. Lots of wear due to farm use and higher miles 140k now.

Rear axle. Front diff and cvs. Quick discos front and rear. Finalize my interior. Pcm4less. Maybe rear bumper. And sliders.

Also gonna try the moog springs up front. The 88s are sagging about 1.75 inches since i put on the 35s. Couldnt believe it when i measured today. Starting to wish for leaf springs or maybe radflo's.
