Ok, so I'm not "new" new, but "kinda new" new. LOL Hey, whats up all! My name is Pat. I live in Wisconsin, and I took a perfectly good vehicle, and did this.... to it. Well, I have been into audio since before I could drive, but took it moble. Now my trailblazer is a daily driver, but I drive it more in the winter and my Mercedes in the not winter... After a few deer became fond of my truck, and I took it off-roading( not in a good way) I figured I better "FIX IT". So, um Hi. this is where its at now. Any one want more info, get after me. Any body near ish, want custom audio done, or know when we can go play in the dirt. let me know.

I'm not much of an audio guy but would putting an amp in an enclosed area cause it to get too warm?

yes, but you can add fans to push or pull air in/out. Also some amps has a fan on them. But you never really want to fully enclose an amp.

LOL thanks. I took the 60/40 seat, stripped it, welded it together, cut 8 inches out from the middle, added in a 3 inch deep tray for the amps to recess into. had the seat redone and now its great. I have a great amp rack, and ALL my space back.

So I finally got a picture of the wheels done. Still gotta pick up finder flares so I can put em back on. I also ordered a 50", 30,000 lumen, 6k led, a pair of 4.5" round 6k led (fog light replacement in bumper) and a pair of 4" 6k led (roof rack rear) to put on. I am in the process of building a roof rack. Bit here are the wheels.

I have to ask, did your pillar modifications somehow influence the deer strikes? Reduced visibility like that could have a dramatic effect on seeing deer in low light situations.

Actually I didn't loose much visibility. They are really in line with the pillars. But, one ran into the side of the truck, and my ex girlfriend hit one.
