So with the 3.42 and 33's and do a lot of highway driving you're looking at what? Transfer case and TC failure which leads to transmission failure? Or is it even a 4WD component issue?

I need it for friday. As of now no power steering waiting on front drive shaft

I think James was the one that did the research, something to do with the way the TC locks up it will lead to higher tranny temps which leads to failure. I don't know that there are any documented cases yet of those with 33's and 3.42s having tranny issues. I think Rory had some issues but he actually has 3.73 gears.
If you are already in that situation I would get a scangauge and monitor your tranny temps and keep a good check on your fluid.
