Yes. I believe 91s came with 63" rear springs. Steve did you use 63s in your rear or 52s?

I used 52" rear springs, front and rear. I used the lower control arm pocket turned into a leaf mount. Moved the axle about 4" back.

It will work the same as a high pinion. I just don't see why.

Yeah, with the cost of a hp 44 being so cheap, I dont see what could be gained by running a low pinion. The amount of lift needed to clear the pan will put you into driveline problems in the front with only running a single case. (shorter shaft than mine)
If you must run a low pinion axle (its also weaker) then I would have it cut and turned to raise the pinion.

IMO best to wait for the right part than push forward with junk.
People will just about GIVE you an HP 44 out here. Everyone wants a 60 these days.

I need to pass inspections whats the wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface on a D60 isn't it close to 70in?

Curious - what does that have to do with inspections? Do they actually measure hub distance?

MA is Very strict with everything. I am pushing it with the SAS a TB has a Max Lift of 8in over stock including tire size. Also very strict with How much tire sticks out beyond fenders. I have had a town cop pull me over for factory tint. A D44 will be about the same as stock WMS to WMS wise so I can figure out a smaller fender flare like what Roadie did for tire coverage. Unlike Steves or Antons that stick out farther.
