WILL THESE FIT WITHOUT SPACERS ?

Need new shoes? This is the place to discuss.

Before you go off on me - Yes I know how to search and yes I have read all about wheels and spacers on here. I guess I am so mathmatically challenged because offset and backspace and all this stuff confuse the hell out of me. I am looking at rims with below specs. I think they will work without the 1.5" spacers and I can use the size guide for max size without mod since I believe the tires on these rimes would still be under the Upper Ball Joint.

Bolt Pattern: 6-lug, 6 x 5"
Front and Rear: 17" x 8"
Offset: +10mm, Backspace: 4 7/8"

Do you think the tire will still be under the ball joint ?

What size tires are you running or going to run on them? These wheels should give you plenty of room to run larger tires.

Stock backspacing is 6".

So you would effectively have the backspacing of a stock wheel with a 1 1/8" spacer. Which should clear the UBJ for most tire sizes (as long as you're not going with say, a 315 width).

I drive alot of higway mile commuting to work so I won't go crazy with huge tire. Just something a little bit bigger like 31" range. I don't want to use spacers. $576 for rims with ability to put larger tires and have no spacers is what I want. It sounds like these rims should do the trick. Thanks guyz

Should work I have 31.6in tires(temporary) right now and they fit fine with about a inch of clearance from ball joint with 5in backspacing on my rims.

On a 7" wide rim. With an 8" wide rim as proposed, the inner lip sticks in 1/2" more than the 7", so I'd subtract 1/2" from the virtual spacer thickness.

You're confusing offset with backspacing. Rim width has no bearing on backspacing measurements - which is why I prefer using them over offset.

yeah, I can keep them straight if I think about one or the other but it confuses the heck out of me if you start mixing them up.
