Has anyone here used spacers from the ebay seller wheeladapters4u? Are they worth a shot?

Isn't that the ebay vendor Roadie is always warning people about?

Looks like the people. Avoid this vendor at all costs. For budget spacers of good quality, let mark hook you up....

i went through MotorSport Tech, found them on EBay. Based out of Nevada. All american made good quality. Great customer service. They seem to be holding up perfectly thus far with about 1000 miles on them

I thought the one the Roadie warned about was 'ezaccessory' or something like that?

I'm pretty sure it is ezaccessory.
Most of the spacers I have seen on ebay are either 1.25 or 2inch.
For me the 2inch are too much and the 1.25 aren't enough.
I think I'll get mine from Mark when the time comes.
$209 likely in your hand in 2 days and you know you are getting what you need instead of hoping it is what you need.

WOW!

These guys are trying to corner the TB market. Their selection is amazing for our trucks and the pricing is unbeatable.

What a great find!

Does roadie know about this?

he was there when i installed mine! So i told him about it. I recommend them. (Dirty Bacon Approved :salut: )
And they are 100% customizable. They can do any type of adapter, any spacing, and size lugs pressed in. You can do a 1/4" space to a friggin 5" spacer. Plus they are wheel and hub centric. I love mine.

What's the problem with EZ Accessory? Why should they be avoided?

Can you customize lug diameter?

I dunno, the picture doesn't show that it's hubcentric and the ad doesn't say they are hubcentric. Lots of guys run spacers that locate the wheel by lugnuts only and they largely have no problem. But I'd rather have the wheel located by the lip and lugnuts. It's why I just picked em up from MarkMC

Kyle, I think they will build anything you want. They even do some 2 piece adapters to change from like 5 lug to 6 lug.

i was curious about this ebay find, so i sent the link to my supplier to get his input.
here is the reply i received word for word:

The parts are China made and are cast type Alum SOME 6061-T-6 AND SOME IRON AND SOME 3036 ALUM, but hey no problem if some one wants 1.12 we can make them up too.
He will have to trim studs and also not hubcentric to the wheel side, wich everybody had to have. i remember.
You can get the Caddy`s or the Vega its HIS life and money.
JIMMY

i think he was a little offended cus he has made what we all asked for at a price we can all afford...

I could understand when Fred was the only one out there and he had the spacers for $365 and you could find a much cheaper quality alternative on ebay for $160. I could see folks taking that risk, it a was $200 difference.

Having a vendor that Mark uses which appears to be similar quality of a Fred spacer (top of the line alloy, hub and wheel centric options) for ~$210, I don't see taking that risk for $50. It's worth the $50 not to have to grind off the studs!

When I need new tires, I plan to get spacers and if I don't find a used set of "Mark's" spacers in the classifieds I plan to get them from Mark and I know I am one of the biggest tightwads on the board! :-)

I'm not sure I understand why anyone was offended? Free discussion and free market are what make the world go 'round! But if I have the choice, I would be sending my money to a US company, for US materials.
