I have a new in-package winch extension from Amsteel Blue. Asking $140 shipped.

Will only be for sale for a very short period of time, so jump on this if you are in the market. I will require immediate payment through paypal. If it doesn't sell here, I'm just going to return it to amsteelblue.com... (thus the time limit).

This exact item:

http://www.amsteelblue.com/item.cfm?itemid=47204
It comes with a Velcro abrasion sheath.

This offer will probably end Sunday. Please let me know if you're interested.

And you don't NEED a winch for this to be useful. This can replace a chain in a hi-lift self recovery kit.

I must have got a smoking deal on my 3/8 Amsteel blue. 100 feet at a dollar a foot with a hook...

But seriously this is a good deal if you can use it.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

Didn't you also say something about needing to splice yours? I forget.

Oh well, I'm not seeing any bites anyways.

I'd be on this (it's a good deal) but I live in the land of trees. I'm never more than 50' from something to tie off to.

Donny, I thought the same thing until that tree was blocking my path on the GC rim. I was lucky to have a tree in exactly the right place for my change-of-direction pull. I got the extension to either become a good anchor while winching something/someone else - or as a rigging aid when needing to perform a change of direction pull. I guess it can also be useful as a pure extension too! I just like to be ready I guess.
