Here is rundown of what Mike and I have been PMing...

Looks like my plan will be both skid plates and a slight mod to the plated bumper Mike quick sketched. After looking at James' bumper build on the OS, I think the light bar I had Mike put in the sketch might just be too crowded on the actual bumper. But we haven't kicked this around yet; Mike is the magician/expert here, so I'll go with his expert advise.

Here are the details.

Bumper… non-lift bumper, tube brush guard, plate and trim on the vertical/center section of brush guard, wings, 2" hitch, small light holes like in the 06+ bumper and powder coating.

Oil pan skid, which price includes both powder coating and shipping. Adding rear bolt head protectors, but my military discount covers the cost of the add.

Rad skid (for stock 02 TB)...add for bolt head protectors (same deal with military discount), add for powder coating.

I'll go with the oil pan skid first, because the shipping is in the price. Then, have the bumper and rad skid shipped together for because it saves ~$35 over the rad skid separate option.

To get the ball rolling, I'll shoot Mike the down payment for the bumper, the rad skid, and the oil pan skid, via PayPal. The skids are easier/quicker to produce than the bumper, for all the reasons someone might imagine...not as many options, not nearly as big a project. Bottom line is, the remaining balances need to be paid up before shipping.

Well, there is that, but there have been lots of firsts around the shop... First full tube brush guard, first winch bumper, first 3" body lift winch bumper, first 2" body lift winch bumper (currently on the operating table), first frenched in lights, first MDB wife-resistant running boards, first MDB tube sliders, first bumper-mounted tire carrier, first powdercoated bumper, first powdercoated radiator skid, etc. etc...

That's stuff that I have done, already... The only one of the listed that isn't done yet is the 2" body lift winch bumper... The only firsts that I know are coming up are the tube and plate brush guard above, and the 3" body lift Envoy bumper...

Honestly, unless you've got an EXT, want something special, and/or are local to me, you're going to have to have somebody weld them on anyway, so you might as well just get the Trailgear ones and be done with it...

Mike, the bumpers look great! The silver TB on the first page with both the driving and fog lights really catches my attention. I also really like the brush guard you show at the top of page two. My questions is, any chance you would consider making a slight change to the area in front of the wheels? Unlike most of the guys on this site, I don't need the additional clearance/approach angle, but would like more protection for the wheel/tire/suspension as my offroad driving consists of going through fields, no trails. I'm not too far from Indy and if you are interested, maybe we can work something out. Oh, and I'm also interested in your skid plates, maybe doing a package purchase. Thanks!

What is the best way to share visuals ideas using your sketch? Do I need to save the image, then open it in a "paint"-like program, then save it a photo saving program?

Or is there a more simple way?

I would guess Mike uses CAD or something similar.
I'm not sure but you might be able to download Google sketch (free) and do something with it.

Like Navigator said, just put it in Paint, and make a sketch of what you want... Unless, of course, you want to spend $4k on a seat of Inventor, in which case, you could make something similar...
