update... I knew something was fishy with my rear case (trying to pop out of gear). After the last wheeling trip the bolts pulled out of front of the doubler (front case) causing a leak. So I dropped everything out, and opened up the rear case. I lost the input planetary, the range gear, range fork, and filled everything else with metal shavings.
Im guessing the shock from it repeatedly popping worked the bolts loose untill they pulled out. I just need to oversize the doubler mounting bolts, install my spare rear case (after putting in a 32 spline input, and SYE), add a rear case support/mount, and I should be back wheeling.
On a positive note, with the cases out, I was able to hook up my ebrake cables and cross that off the list!
