MDB Winch Bumpers...

Do you happen to have any exact dimensions in mind when it comes to the aux lighting ports so those of us that are going to get this bumper know what size to invest in?

Also are you going to make the one in the pic a standard product or do any made to order alterations?

Everything I do is custom, or semi-custom, or semi-standard... I'll make whatever somebody wants. This particular bumper had added holes for 5" lights, and 2" lights (like the Hella Micro DE), and that's what I've got tube for... If somebody has a particular size of light in mind, I can get a tube that's close. With current designs, it would be a bit difficult to go bigger than a 5" light, or maybe a smallish 6" light... If somebody wants one without light ports at all, I can do that as well... This particular bumper had an add-on brush guard, etc...

Like I say, just about everything I do can be a 1-off, and it's up to the purchaser what they want...

This is just an option now, like the 3" body lift bumper, or the upcomig 3" body lift winch bumper (that I already have an order for, but haven't made yet)... I'll take orders for them any time...

Here's a peek at the prototype 3" body lift winch bumper... It still needs cleaned up a bit, the fairlead cutout, and powder coated, but it's mostly there... The bottom of the bumper is the bottom of the frame, like my standard bumpers, and because of the angle, while it does stick out farther, there is no loss in approach angle from my standard bumpers...

Any possibility of still having a receiver for the winch and moving trailers around and making the winch area for storage.

Well... I guess... It already sticks out reasonably far for the winch (before hanging a winch off the front of there), and there are better places to store relatively heavy extraction equipment than out in front of the front end... That falls under the "I'll make whatever you want" category, even if I don't agree with it on a technical level... Putting a receiver on it to move trailers and stuff is fine, and could go on the angled part at the bottom... I just don't know about hanging a winch out in front of there, on purpose...

Yeah, it's the same cutout... Actually, it's placed a little higher like it is, so the bottom of a roller fairlead ends up at the bottom of the front portion, so either can be run... It was just easier to trace Kyle's Hawse than either of our rollers...

I assume you're talking about the original winch bumper, not the new 3" body lift one I posted on page 5, right? I'm not a huge fan of the cross-bar right there, either, looks-wise... Without it, though, a deer can slide right in there, and still take out your radiator; and he drives in the middle of nowhere in Canada, so the thing still being driveable after a deer strike was more important...
