I blew a hole in the case of my 8" G80 on a black diamond trail. The 8.6 with a No-Slip (a LR with synchros, made by the same people) walked over the same rock.
Having the wheels start out locked instead of waiting for a wheel to spin before the diff locks is HUGE. You don't realize how big a deal that is until you've experienced both.
I got way more aggressive with my truck after I put the lockers in... because I could.
