Alright people, I've been away for far to long. Sorry for disappearing but I'm back and WOW, I've been busy getting the TB built over the last year and now it's nearly complete...(but we all know there is no such thing as complete) What I'm going to do is attach a photo's in chronological order and give a brief description of what has been added over the course of time. Then at the end ill give a list of everything you have seen. So with that said...Let the Story of Bandito's transformation begin!!!

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1352283636.895111.jpg

What started it all was the light bar I found on Amazon. I then got the Packasport from Craigslist for next to nothing, I felt like I was taking advantage of the kid,but he assured me it was the price he wanted. Then came the wheels, also from Craigslist. They originally were steel, so I took them to Seattle Powder Coat where they did an amazing job turning them black. I then got 1.5" inch wheel spacers with the right bolt pattern conversion to fit them on.

Then came the Mark Mc's 3" Leveling Kit. I got the tires off Craigslist...BF Goodrich TA/KO 285/75-16

These are Bushmaster Cut Away fender Flare's which I had put on originally because when I was looking for the bolt-on which I have now, I was unfortunately mislead to believe that these were supposed to be what I actually wanted. So I put these on the front only for most of the winter.
A common problem I have found which I'm sure many of you also encounter is that when asking shops for items they will tell you that they don't have what you are look for because its not made for a Trailblazer. When in fact %90 of the items I've purchased for my truck are not actually for a Trailblazer. So I've learned that many times when I know exact ally what it its that I want. I will not disclose what vehicle I'm buying it for, or even hang up and call back so I can talk to another sales person because I've been told what I want is not made for a Trailblazer therefore they won't sell it to me.

I bought this hood off of EBay. It's Octane Motorsports 2002-2006 Cheverolet Trailblazer Outlaw 1 Hood. There are 2 types, Outlaw 1 and Outlaw 2. They make one out of fiberglass and another out of Carbon fiber. At the time I could not afford the Carbon fiber because it was $500 more than the Fiberglass.

Replaced the rear springs with Z71 Coils and put the rear springs in front with Billstein's HD Strut's. The Z71 Springs are paired with Procomp 9000 Series Shocks.

I eventually was able to get ahold of the correct fender flares I wanted in the first place. They are called the BUSHWACKER* Bolt-on Cut Away for late 90's - early 2000's model Jeep Cherokee.

*(I just realized that twice earlier I was calling the fender flares by the wrong name. So please note that I stand corrected and that the fender flare company I purchased from is named BUSHWACKER not Bushmaster.)

The water pump went out and was leaking like a faucet. This is a picture of the new water pump I installed.

I already had 2 Kenwood 10" Subs. With 1000w Kenwood amp. This is a picture of the 4 crossovers and 720w amp I installed for the MB Quart component speakers I put in each door. Let me tell you...my TB sounds absolutely amazing!!! The clarity is like nothing I've heard before...

I saw a photo of a Ford Raptor that the Ford Motor Company gave as a gift to WRC Rally Car driver and owner of DC Shoes Ken Block. It was painted in close to the same matte grey color. I took my TB to the local Macco where I was fortunate to strike a deal with the Manager. They did their professional grade paint job which entailed 4 coats of colored primer and 2 coats of a poly urethane paint. They truly did a world class paint job. I'd recommend them to anyone in the Seattle area.

Below is the image I showed them of how I wanted my TB to look.

Rock Slider Bars from Trail Gear. I painted them red to add a pop of color.

We actually cut the mounting bars in half and sleeved them so that they could be removed easily if needed the sleeves are extremely strong which add additional strength to the bars in case of heavy banging around when out on the trails.

In addition to the speakers I installed or I should actually say took the OEM headrests out and put in the new ones with monitors. I ran an RCA to my Jensen head unit so movies can be played on all 3monitors. Otherwise in the back seat you can watch you own film or play games on the PS2 I installed under the passenger seat.

I got a Cobra 29Ltd Bluetooth CB which I installed underneath the steering wheel on the door side.

I toyed with a number of different mounting locations for the dual antenna. A good friend gave me the idea to place them horizontally attached to the roof rack rail...Thanks E!!!

I've purchased a Curt hitch mount spare tire carrier. Next on my list it to modify it to put a hinge so I can open the gate. As for not the pair of 5gallon gas cans sit perfectly on the step while being wedged in by the spare tire.

The last thing I have done, better yet most recently is a new front bumper. I got a screaming deal off my favorite place, Craigslist for an ARB winch mount bumper. Which let me tell you. I have had to do some serious cutting, drilling, screwing and a little bleeding to get it on so that it didn't look completely wrong and out of place.

I was able to find a Warn winch from Craigslist as well.

Changed Fender Flares a little while ago. Here is some detailed info about them. Bushwacker Pocket Style Fender Flares. Part # 40937-02. You only have to make minor adjustments to the rear at the door split. Otherwise they fit near perfect.
