About to put it together

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

Not sure if it has been discused but i think we need to find a front strut that has a longer shaft. it seams like there is zero up travel with the stock style strut and it is compressing the springs way more than is needed. Hope that makes sence. what i mean is i got the 86 springs and the strut is limiting the spring. example if i used the 89 springs it wouldnt sit higher even though it is a higher spring rate because the strut is topped out.

Unfortunately the cv angle and ballpoint appear to be the biggest problem... not so much the struts. there's a couple members that have had a custom strut setup on their vehicles.

This is indeed a known issue. There are two known workarounds.

One is adding washers under your top shock mount, to effectively give your shock a little more down articulation. Make sure you know what you're doing here, if you add too many, you could damage components of your suspension.

The second is to add weight to your front end... bumper, winch, armor.

Give it some time, the springs will probably sag a bit over the next few weeks.

Wow...I'm a big fan of how this is coming out. Not a true mudder, but for the application I can definitely appreciate some professional custom work right there.

It has been discussed but I don't think anyone has found a strut that will work to give us more travel.

I just browsed about 10-12 pages of your build thread on the OS and I'm not even a huge audio fan.
I can appreciate good sound/music(I do a little mixing for our church) but a car full of speakers just isn't my thing.
I can appreciate good work and that is really nice work, great job!
