I'm really looking forward to this Friday!

For the technical specs...we're using MURS-2 with a PL of 91.5, and we're planning to use CB Channel 19 unless otherwise directed.

Any hints are welcome. :coffee2:

We will be sure to take plenty, the rain should make for some good mud too!

Today was a success, although the rain and storms chased us out. We had the most fun at Jemima Mountain, and of course, getting stuck as water flowed into our cabs. Dave will take care of the rest of the shots.

For the record, I'm in the Trailblazer and Dave is in the Silverado. He'll add the rest, or anything I may have forgotten.

Good pics. You relocate your breathers yet? Might be good if you get into deep water regularly.

I have mine burried in the space between the engine bay and quarter panel. i removed the channels that run from behind the lower headlamp up too the filter box. i need to get water over the hood to get it into my filter box, which has drain holes. Its not submersion proof but its good enough for my needs. as for the TB, factory location air box.

I meant the differential, transmission, and TC breathers. Got it in my build thread if you're interested

You should have one for the dif's too. I went overkill with the trans and TC, since those are pretty high anyways, at least they should be. Guys never hooked mine back into the brackets when they replaced my transmission. Dif's could use some extension though. I think James just put his in a small area under the back end where it'd create a bubble when submerged. it'd suck to have to pull it all apart because water got in there and rusted

now that you say something, my rear diff has one, i remember seeing it when i did brake lines. as for the front diff, i don't remember seeing one but it makes sense that a "sealed" container with thermally sensitive fluid should have a let off of some sort.

and i think that those plastic caps on the hose are supposed to be one way, let pressure out, not in, but that pesky rule, "if it can go wrong it probably will"

Look around for a thread, we have it covered fairly well there. We should continue any breather discussion there, not here.

Glad you got out and used the TB!
