I'll run them on the rear and see how I like them. Then get some more money together and do the fronts as well.
Donny if treadwright offered a different tire such as the Howler M/T, Sentinel A/T or Warden A/T in the 315 70 17 would have bought one of these instead? Why or why not?

I was definitely ready to get back into an M/T style tread, so the A/T's were out. The Howler is kinda weird looking, and has 3/32 less tread than the Guard Dog. The Guard Dog also has more biting edges on the tread than the Howler.

The Howler has some huge voids though, so I expect they clean out really well in sticky mud situations.

Also worth noting. My 35x12.5x17 retreads were able to be balanced with a measly 3oz of weight each. Not too shabby.

Does anyone know how to find a "special offer/discount coupon code" for Treadwright?

Like their page on facebook, get the information about the facebook group buy and get 5% off or work on the group buy here which I believe they will give us 7% if we get 10 or more people.

I have been thinking about getting the 265/70R16 load range E Guard Dog which is a 31" tire. I am kind of worried about them being soft with the heat we get here.

How good are these tires?

I pulled that nail out of the tire. It was strait into the tire however there is no air leak from the nail!!!

I've never been a fan of retreads and have let it be know, but with all the positive talk about treadwrights I'm gonna give them a chance. Hope they are as good as everyone has said.

I felt the same about the thought of retreads. But after all the great reviews on treadwrights I went ahead and bought mine. Also for only $614 shipped for 33's, I couldnt pass them up.

Just to get an overall general sumarry of how they are holding up, the ride.. I need new tires before winter, Hopefully I can get my hands on some perhaps used wheel adapters for a decent price. I ended up buying an M4, needless to say that ammo, 5 mags and the gun itself have put me way behind budget.

Mine rides real nice. As a matter of fact my step dad is down here visiting and he rode with me to my sons football game and he commented on how nice of a ride it was. He expected it to be a rough ride and it was far from that.

Treadwrights run a little big. I didn't have rubbing issues with my 35" BFGs but did with the Treadwrights.
