Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

As God as my witness, this is the last time I am doing this.

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

Shout out to MarkMC for making a killer lift and Mooseknuckle(I laugh every time I see that name) for the springs. Keeping stock springs. Next on the list is body lift/armor. I have some plans to improve recovery points without steel bumpers. I've also got wheel spacers on the way that convert the bolt pattern, and then I'll need to locate some fsc wheels and appropriate tires.

And maybe this time it'll stay this way. ;) I'll throw away the yo-yo, sign a waiver, sell my spring compressors(not really, they are useful). But seriously, after today I really don't want to change the suspension again. I didn't want to take any of it off in January, but my mission for life conflicted with the mission for my vehicle. Well, things seemed to right themselves before I got rid of the truck so now I can get back to where I was before and continue forward.

You're not kidding. Pretty sure I have a new set of rims/tires waiting in The wings. Might be a little big to run before the bl is installed, but I guess I'll just have to see. Not in any hurry this time around.

Are those Foosh's old wheels/tires? You're what, the 4th-5th truck with those wheels? LOL

Nah, those are just another set of envoy wheels. Just regular tires on them. I might actually get those rims from Brendan for now, as I am saving for either H3 or Tahoe wheels and some new tires.

Thought about that, but at $25-40 shipping per rim it makes more sense to wait for something local. Or perhaps get some soft 8s instead.

Speaking of H3 wheels, I just emailed a guy in my area about a set he was selling. $75 for five. The listing is about a month old so not sure if he's still got em, but if he does I'll prob just pick em up for the hell of it and see if I can find someone that will want em.

So is this sort of like when somebody says "I swear I'm never drinking again!" when they're drunk, then goes out the next weekend and gets drunk again?

NBL brother! :finger:

Gonna start playing around with my little toy welder this weekend. Once I get my skill level to a point where the welds are safe I will start putting some things together. It also has to wait until a body lift goes back on, and that's IF I still do one.

Just got word back, only 4 wheels, and for $120. I'm guessing your prob looking for 5, and I thought is was for 5, but still not too shabby.

That's actually pretty good. Wouldn't mind a matching 5th, but there are plenty of other options. But there is a pretty solid set of FJ steelies down here that I might be able to get for that price. Man, now you've got me thinking.
