Mooseknuckle came by to install his MDB Rad Skid on Sunday. We made quick work of that and by the time we were finished with our first beer, my friend pulled up in his 2004 Land Rover Discovery... he wanted to get it dirty. Moose and I were down! We had limitted time and limited options as the Disco is running slightly worn street tires. We went through some puddles and over some hills, just to see what the thing could do. Those trucks are very capable stock... let alone with some work. He got stuck in one puddle only because of his tires. I went through it pretty easily as did Moose... I went a second time and went a little more to the left then I did originally, only to find a deeper rut... no worries, little tug, and I was out. Water was just at the lower door sill.

Bot had taken a drive up and we met him in between a trails. No wheeling for him yet, but SOON!

Well, on to the pics... I'll post more when my buddy uploads the ones he took.

My buddy spotted this sitting in the trail, we stopped to take a pic of little Michaelangelo and to make sure he made it to safety.

At this point, Jeff, Bot, and the Discovery had to leave... but another friend of mine had just met up. A Tacoma I've pictured before... so we just drove a couple of roads for a little before we called it a day.

Great shots! That guy has an eye for photography.

I love this one:

Really captured the action... you can see the rear really getting stuffed while the front end is digging for traction. Awesome!! 8-)
