Thanks,

Street legal option yes. Daily driver, not likely, I have 4 other rigs I can drive.

Stock T-case with sas, not an option with the front driveline style the factory case has.

Dual cases not needed, but for a rockcrawler its very helpful.

Where did you end up mounting the shifters?

This was never meant to be a daily driver.

This is being built to get used, and abused. I have a 20' deckover trailer, with a crew cab tow rig to handle toting this pig to the trails. Or for the local stuff, it will be registered and insured.

To be street legal all it really needs is the spacers removed, put on the 37's with H2 wheels off my tow rig, and some fender flares.

Shifters? I havent done those yet...

A s10 231 case is a bolt in to the trans. I don't even know if you can get a normal d-line to bolt to the stock T-case, or why you would want to.

You may be able to convert the stock case over to a fixed front output. But I wouldn't bother.

If you are doing a sas, and lift, and need to get new driveshafts anyway. You might as well swap in a good case while you are at it.

Draglink is just mocked up, not tight, or welded yet.

It will flex, I just wont have any issues with it.

Not much to report for tonight,

But the draglink is in, and steering shaft is mocked up.

The little stuff is going to do me in now.

Steering shaft is in!
When you turn you turn the steering wheel, the tires turn.

Seems small, but this is a big step.

Drove it a few miles today. Good so far. Gained 900lbs in the build so far. Weighs in at 5420lbs with me in it.
