Is the $150 for a set that is already welded together? Or all the pieces cut, needing to be welded? I live far away So I would prefer a pre cut kit that s not welded to save on shipping because it could be fit in a way smaller box.

Also I have an EXT, which is roughly 16" longer. Would you like me to go out and measure the length of my rocker panel from front wheel to rear? Im guessing that the short wheel base model guys have two mounting points to the frame, right? Could I get 3 or 4 due to the extra weight, and the longer slider. Your the pro, Im sure you'll know what is best.

Mine have 3 mounts to the frame.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

I chose two. If you get four you're going to be expected to do trails twice as tough as the Rubicon. Good luck. :finger: :friday:

Dont wait for gussets. Do them at the install. They are cheap and simple and will help significantly with strength.

AGREED! We installed mine without gussets originally just to check the rigidity. They deflected a good 1/2+" with static weight (not even the whole vehicle weight). They also vibrated visibly if you kicked it.

After we installed the gussets, no more vibration, and the deflection is now a mere 1/8" or so with the entire vehicle's weight (and I use them a ton with the hi-lift).

The box can't get much smaller with the pieces not welded... the sliders don't get any shorter, just not as wide. As long as the legs that connect them to the frame aren't welded on like the pre-fabbed ones I got were like. The box mine came in were only as long as the sliders by 6"x12" max... with the legs wrapped up in between.

Also definitely do gussets at the same time like the others have said.

Hey Neil I've been trying to reach you for about three weeks or so with no luck in getting a hold of you at all.

But I'm wanting to know how much some sliders would be if I drove over there and had you install them onto my vehicle for me?? Perhaps with 3 mounting points on each side.

And does anybody know this question... I don't have a bodylift (BL) at all on my TB and when I get the rock sliders put on my TB BEFORE the BL, will the bodylift being installed AFTER the install of the rock sliders affect the functionality and what rock sliders are there for?

I got the bodylift three years after my rock sliders, after declaring I would never get a body lift. They work OK, but hand down and look dumb, so I had Neil relocate them 2" upwards. You're much better getting the BL first if you know you're going to do both eventually.

I gotcha Roadie I'm not planning on getting the body lift until my pro comp tires are finished and when that happens I'm going to get the body lift, rims, and all that good stuff so I'm thinking the rock sliders will be first cuz its something I don't have to wait for anyways.
