88's with 1/2 inch spacer?

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

Hey is there anyone that has BDS 2 inch lift with Marks 1/2 inch spacer and 88 springs? Right now I have that with 83's trying to figure out without double the work if you even need the spacer.

I have the Rough Country, which is similar to the BDS, with 88's and no shims. The 88's plus the lift put the front up plenty (almost too) high.

With z71and marms spacer in the rear... I believe it is level now. It had a negative rake til springs got some abuse offroad and finally settled. I originally did not have the spacer but after the settle I had to re add it in

I wouldn't use the spacer unless you have a heavy steel bumper and winch up front. I used a 3/8" spacer with the BDS/88's and feel the lift turned out perfectly (as much as I'd possibly want given the extension limits of the halfshafts) and my bumper/winch sinks the front over an inch. Without them I would not want that spacer.

Right now I have the 87's with Marks lift, but left the 1/2" spacer out. Have Mike's bumper/rad skid on there too and the front sits at most 1/2" lower than the rear (Mark's lift + Z71).

I was planning on throwing the 1/2" spacer in the front but might result in negative rake...

So I'm holding off of the extra spacer for now. Hope that helps.

Yes it does help Jansey thank you,do you go offroad a lot? Have your springs had time to settle apart from the weight of the bumper and rad skid?. Hardtrailz I'm still not following you when you say Marks inner and outer spacer?

I've gone offroad 3 times (TECORE/ and two times pretty hard), and at that time i got the bumper.

And I've had them on almost 2 months now so they should have settled by now. I'll probably add the spacer in the spring for the hell of it to see where it puts me but I think right now it sits pretty good.

And by inner and outer, kyle is saying the 2" (inside spacer) and the 1/2" (outside spacer) which is Marks kit. I simply left out the outside spacer. He put it in after the front settled a bit.

But if you not doing a bumper or anything heavy upfront right away I'd say go 87/88's with the inside spacer, and when you do add extra weight up front throw that 1/2" (outside spacer) in to compensate. Its easy enough to put that spacer on any way, as it just sits atop of the assembly.
