how many miles did your stock engine and tranny lasts?

Im just curious on how many miles did your stock engine and tranny lasts?
My 2002 Trailblazer have 103500 miles on it .Nothing was changed or replaced (knock on wood).Now im planning to drive it to Florida this xmas and im kinds worried that it might just breakdown.Should i be worried?

Nothing should break down if you treat it right and properly maintain it...

I've got 125,000 on my 02 and am having to replace the fan clutch, but thats it motor and tranny wise so far.

My 06 has 135,000 and takes me to wheel all over the place.

Nearing 100K, motor is strong and trans shifts smooth and doesn't abuse the fluid. On my second rear axle though.

I have the infamous ticking fan clutch... but it's been that way for over 20k miles without issue. Someday I'll replace it.

I turned 149,000 miles yesterday. Nothing other than normal maintenance items.

My engine is strong still no problems whatsoever. I only give my engine and everything on it the best fluids and parts and in return "Shirley" treats me right.

Now my tranny only lasted about 60K miles (I was hot doggin' around in 1st and blew some internals)

My engine now has 121,xxx miles on it and my tranny has about 60,xxx miles on it.

i have 130,000 miles on my 02 and replaced a cam sensor and coil packs and front diff and cv axles and lower ball joints

My neighbors blew around 35k miles he did heavy towing daily and not sure of his maintenance but mine is 62k on the nose and my has a weird mechanical sound at the bottom end

My trans went out at around 80k but it was new-used to me at the time. No clue what my step brother did to it in order for it to degrade so fast. Worked fine and shifted great until one day out of nowhere I had no reverse.

The only thing i can think of right now is the squeaking sound when i stop or on rough road.Do you guys spray wd-40 on the nuts and bolts around the chassis or its not advisable?

I have "the squeak." I think Kyle(hardtrailz) does too. I think it's in the front shocks. He thinks it's in the UCA bushings (we both have them flipped.)

Mine usually shows up when it's cold/wet. I just deal.

I have an 06 LT with 50k and Tranny is golden. I have no squeaks but it wouldnt hurt for you to spray some wherever you think it might need it.

I have the squeak too, its so effing annoying... It went away last week, and came back yesterday...

My 2002 Trailblazer had 185,000 miles on it, and both engine and tranny were fine ran strong as hell. I was also runnin Royal Purple Oil in everything to so I think that might of help out with it.

Drivers wheel hub 175,000
Cam shaft position sensor 180,000
Transmission 205,000
Passenger wheel hub 225,000
Both half shafts 225,000

The engine is holding up wonderfully, and before I lifted and put the larger tires on I was getting better gas mileage then what it did new off the showroom floor.

The best news, if you are handy at turning a wrench, there are alot of donor parts available for our platform. For instance, I replaced my transmission with a junk yard tranny that had 35,000 miles on it. I had a shop do the install for me and when it was all said and done I had $600 in it. Not bad at all!

My squeak goes away w just a lil lube sprayed on uca bushings so I really think they are my problem. Guess I need to order parts

I have been pretty fortunate. I know I am thankful every time I get into the truck that it has held up as well as it has. I expect to see many more miles out of it, and I fully intend on dropping a new (for me) engine in it when this one decides to give up.

What I really find amusing though, I rarely buy replacement parts new. I have a couple of salvage yards around me that I have had great luck with, and I buy most every part at a fraction of the new cost.
