OK, the last trip got canceled for me due to a stupid mistake concerning a bit to much beer and an over zealous LEO that swore on stand that he pulled me over because he saw me break the tires loose and spin out of the parking lot. (Not sure how that's possible on 32's with a 6" lifted I6) I am in for this trip! As stated in Mike's group buy thread, I will hook up the trailer and help deliver (and install) any armor that is purchased.

Looking forward to meeting some new faces, and seeing some old ones.

Matt is fine.

Is there a rough guess on start time on Friday and finish time on Sunday?

Friday - in the past we've had two meeting times... I'd like to just have one... between 12-1. Sunday, head home whenever... we may ride trails till 3 or so (depends on how deep we are!).

I probably wont be in until later Friday afternoon, depending on whether I have to go through Charleston, WV to drop off the kids. Hopefully the wife will make the trip with me, and we will leave kids at grandma's, but its all dependent on her school schedule. Either way I wont be able to leave Fort Wayne until 10pm Thursday, and its a 10 hour drive from there.

Gotcha. We probably don't want to leave Harrisonburg any later than 4:30 in order to set up camp in the daylight.

Mark me as tentative. The wife said Fri and Sat should be ok. May skip out on Sunday cause of the 10 hour trip home. Just need to get a couple things sold for extra cash for fuel.

That would make three trucks out of Indiana. Maybe we can give these NJ boys a bit of a run for their money! :thumleft:

As it stands... Tom is the only NJ boy on the Confirmed list. I'm out... not even possible.

Tom, would you be willing to pick up my bumper and rad skid for me at TECORE?

Sounds like we need to generate some more positive conversation here... this thread is going dry. :coffee2:

I'm trying to spot a good place for a second night camp... we could always stay at the same place we did in the spring... it was a nice setting. Or we could try to venture further into the mountains than before. Although, that would mean we'd have to limit our time on some of the trails we hit last year (like dictum and 2nd mountain).

Just trying to understand what everyone's looking for out of the trip... exploring more? or just hitting the same (but maybe more difficult) trails.

I think I'll be able to attend this one!! Still just need to ask the boss for the days off but that's never a problem and its not a busy time of the year so that should be a go... I should know for sure tomorrow tho!!

As far as trails 'once I'm a definite' I'd say it would be nice to have some harder trails thrown in the mix, but I'd be down for some exploring too... Haven't ventured very far out of New England especially for offroading, so I'd do anything.

If I make it, I would like to do water crossings....and stuff that is fun, but can still test the abilities of the driver and truck

Sweet Nick. I hope you get the OK.

Brendan, we'll see if we can make that happen. The fun one that we've done in trips prior is a federal right-of-way through the town's watershed property. Rumor is that the town has closed access to the federal trail. We'll have to confirm when we're there I guess.

I'll need a go-around for any deep water... (more than 14-16")
