Eh, if this was a real business, I'd be charging close to twice for this stuff, and would care about branding and advertisment, and such... As it is, I just take whatever profit I make and buy tools with it, so I end up with a net zero on my taxes, and you guys end up with relatively inexpensive armor...

Yeah, it didn't look great, but I'd much rather under-represent something and people be happily surprised by what they get than the other way around...

The stock body-frame bumper with the shackle mounts, but without the wings weighs 86#... Wings add some, and receiver will add some...

I set up my LLC last night, and if it gets approved, it'll be "MDB Fabrication LLC"

MTA and MTA Fabrication were already taken...

Might have my wife design an "MDB FAB" logo and get it on vinyl for if people want to put it on...

Are you planning to just add that side piece as part of the bumper in the future? It would seem easier to just weld it in place as part of the bumper when you build them.

Could you have made the wing piece in the shape of a 7 and welded it to the tire side and top of the bumper? Not sure if it would be more work than it's worth, but you could form two of them out of a square piece rathern than near as much material to make one as you are making them now.

Also, have you thought about bringing out the top of the "wing" out even with the front of the fender and then angling the smaller down piece to meet the bumper?

Glad you posted shots of what this will look like, the cardboard piece just didn't do any justice to what you had planned.

However you do them is what i'll be going with, just putting up some ideas/questions.
