I use Amsoil products in most of my vehicles, and have since the late 1970s. Never let me down once... I run hundreds of thousands of miles on my vehicles, basically buying them used then driving them until they are red spots on the driveway. The engines always run good even with 300,000 + miles.
I also do extended drain intervals, typically changing engine oil once every 20-25K miles with a filter change at mid-point.
When I lived in Wisconsin, the difference between Amsoil and regular dino oil became very apparent, as I was able to start and drive away with my F150 (full-time 4x4, locked all around, 550HP 390) in -25* temps. With regular oil I could not move off the spot in conditions like that (if I could even get the 10:1 compression engine turn over!).
I run it everywhere, diffs, transmission, power steering, t-case (not on Trailblazers, only Chevy factory lube -- it is different for the clutches).
I've never worried about doing a special flush. Amsoil is compatible with regular oils so no big deal at all. Just run it.
I would not run the Lucas with the Amsoil. No sense in degrading the already great Amsoil with an additive that changes its properties. Lucas is a good product and has its place (I especially like their power steering product), but I never run any additive with full synthetic. No need. Amsoil lubes better than Lucas right out of the box.
