Splicing inthe middle of the steel tube might be easier than adding a longer flexible end on them. One vendor (IIRC) made stainless braided lines for the SSS, and I have a set of them on my front. But he ran out of a custom fitting and got out of the business. The evil GM design team stuck us with a unique fitting at the caliper end.
