I believe you've built this up in your mind... I hope you're not disappointed! Below are the 3 raw video clips from the climb in their entirety. I took the best of it when I made my TECORE III video for youtube.

M2U00013.MPG
M2U00014.MPG
M2U00015.MPG

(You may have to save to your hard drive... I can't get them to play in my browser)

Thanks, James!

I just wanted to see it... What made it cool was the angle and the banging on the frame and sliders going up over the stuff... (I don't know if I just don't have the full coedec or something, but it didn't sound like there was much if any sound on it?)... With the exception of maybe the step rock, it was probably the coolest thing done that weekend, but videos don't show angles very well, in general, and it was really quite steep...

Hm, yeah. I forgot about that codec issue. I had problems with windows media player... but then I just started using my movie editing software to play it, which has no problem. Must be some strange format.

As much as I abhor using Apple anything on my machines, Quicktime player seems to be the best for digital recorded video playback. I had zero issues watching them.

Now in your signature it says you've got a G80 why all the right side tire spinning and no forward movement? Does the G80 still allow that much torque leakage?

When it kicks in, it can sometimes lurch you forward... There is a set RPM difference between the let and right tires where it kicks in... He was intentionally spinning very slowly, then a little faster, then a little faster, so that it would lock up softly and not kick him sideways off the rock that his driver's side tire was on.

The G80 is a funny animal. Sometimes its a little temperamental about locking up (at least mine is). Once in a while it will spin a bit, and other times it will lock right up... most likely mine's just old and a bit worn.
