We got it out. Pulled it out with a 4wd Yukon xl.

The little lower lip got ripped off but I am saving up for real front bumper and winch. I tried using my hi lift and some rocks under the rear wheels but the front was just way to stuck.

The kids thought it was the funnest thing ever.

...until the rear was as sunk to the frame as the front. Looks very much like the first time I really got stock while stock - with running boards. Oh, the embarrassment. And the wifely silent disapproval. The unvoiced criticism can be more withering than the vocal ones.

I guess I need another few inches of lift. I am working on new wheels so I can get bigger tires. The 32s didn't cut it. But I don't think any street tire would have made it through that.

I kinda doubt it... our trucks just have too much crap on the bottom that's too low. I've been stuck like that before. It takes a bit of finesse, but you can normally reverse/forward it out... just don't spin your wheels, all it does it get you stuck more. The second it spins, apply the brakes.

If you're alone could you have gotten out? If not, maybe you should pick up a hi-lift and some supplies. Read the "Vehicle Recovery" article on this site if you need some pointers on how to get unstuck.

Had a hi lift as said before. I tried the forward and back. Never even budged. I went into this at about 5 mph. It just sunk like quick sand. I was with some buddies so it was a easy extraction. I am glad. Cause a hi lift extraction would have taken some digging and some work. The reciever was about 6 in from the ground.

just one final pic from the weekend. we put just over 700 miles on trails this weekend. and only got stuck that one time. (then again i started getting out and looking at water crossing before crossing.) i did use the hi lift twice and it worked great.

things that i need to add

real bumpers with a winch
rock sliders (gouged a lower plastic cap)
fender flares (mud in cabin due to windows down sucks)
diff cover(it took a go blow this weekend, no damage)

700 miles on trails? Even on an amazingly smooth 25 mph trail, that's 28 hours in the saddle. Kudos to you if you really were in there that long! We need more pictures than 2!

Don't forget to add bigger tires to your list.

400 miles sorry i hit the 7 and was aiming for the 4. we started on Saturday and finished up last night. ill get some more pics. they are on the wifes camera i just had this on my cell.

the tires are are a givin. but wheels are needed first. the 265/75s did good but when it came to mud(as you can see) more aggresive tires would have been great. we are going to keep these(i love these revo 2s on the street) as daily tires and get some new wheels with a better offset for larger tires.
