Ok lets try it again. The last day trip couldnt happen due to Mothers Day and work etc. I have off on Fridays but I think everyone basically said Saturday would be a better day.If not maybe Sunday both days are good. So if anyone has any interest lets make it happen. I think that Bob and Brendan are in. :flex dirty:

Haha, now you know how tough it is to get Jersey guys out. I'll make the trip. I'm staying out of the deep puddles and extra sticky stuff though. Lets hit either the quarry at Lacey or Colliers Lake(?).

Okay so lets get this goin...

Whats the plans on a location? Maybe we can go to me and foosh's spot, some nice scenery, plus i think my boys wanna go quading so i can bring them along too.

My main spot is exit 74 off of prkway south. Its about 200ft off of the exit.
Come off prkwy southexit 74 (lacy rd, forked river). At stop sign, make left. Trail head is 200ft on your left hand side.

Any Interest?
Lets shoot for saturday

Lets do it. That spot is easy to get to for everyone and I haven't been there yet. So.... Saturday, Parkway exit 74. What time do we want to meet. Brendan, you have to travel the farthest so you make the call.

Ihave the quads/trailer in my driveway right now. Theyre talking about wanting to leave around 8-9am putting us at the location by (im coming from exit 150) 11 1130. How does that sound for everybody.

From Parkway South Take exit 74, Lacy road-Forked River. Come off exit (through toll booth) to stop sign. At stop sign make left. 100 ft on left hand side is the trail head. Youl see plenty of tire marks and typically a water pit right at the front. Hop over the curb and your in. Follow trail down 1/4 mile and youl see openings on left hand side to park. Get there park, then wait for me :finger:

From Parkway North Take exit 74, Lacy Rd- Forked River. At light make a left. Cross over the parkway. When you see the entrance for Parkway South, the trial head is 30ft after that on your left hand side. Youl see plenty of tire marks and typically a water pit right at the front. Hop over the curb and your in. Follow trail down 1/4 mile and youl see openings on left hand side to park your truck. Get there park, then wait for me :finger:

1130ish work for everybody?

You have to pop a curb to get to the trail? Sounds suspiciously illegal.

Thank you Ofc. Downing for your input on a Jersey trip thread, we appreciate your concern

Its not Illegal. While we are there we will be passing 60 year old men in their CJ7's who have been going there since they were little tots in their old willies. The curb will forever reamin for many reasons, the police will even stop traffic for you to drive your trailers up and over. Its a nice deterrant to keep local shirtbirds out with their hondas.

Reguardless, if for some odd reason we do run into one im pretty sure i can handle it accordingly

No reason to be sarcastic... it's one of the site rules. I felt the need to inquire further. Have fun!

I'm in! Brendan lets meet on parkway south let me know what time. Many thanks to the jersey guys for not only responding but making a huge effort to not leave me hanging...lol seriously I appreciate it. As to the popping the curb sounding illegal James, while it does sound a little suspicious and one of the site rules,we are talking about Jersey here, we do things a little different here. Not at all illegal I have had many off road vehicles in there and Brendan is right the cops have stopped traffic to let you in there and also the curb is there to make people without off road vehicles think twice about going in. Rest assure it's all legit. It will be an awesome day! Pictures to follow. oooo oooo maybe we can get some rank for this trip in the rank thread :flex dirty: oh I have a tow strap and possibly a rear shackle...Brendan? damn I can get a cb but how do i get one in a day?

/serious face
As an offroading site, we do our best to promote responsible offroading. Thanks for assuring James and us all about the legality of your trip, and I hope you can understand why we ask, so as to protect lands that are already dangerously close to being closed for a variety of other reasons than offroad abuse.

Hope your trip is awesome!

Talked to Jeff this afternoon. He said Jim is "iffy", using 2WD as an excuse :poke: :poke: . I think he might have to make himself a mall rated sticker sometime soon.
