Looks like fun! :thumleft:

When talking w/ Jeff at the meet yesterday, I believe he said it's off 70 and Airport Rd. in Lakewood somewhere.

Just used Bing Maps to find the water tower... it is right off of 70 by Airport Rd... Lakewood Industrial Park. Might have to check that place out.

I love the ride thanks to Bob,Jim and Brendan and Tom. Plenty more to do all in good time. Right off 70 before Airport road. Actually right after the parkway exit there is a guard rail and some dark grey stone I turned off there and knocked a small tree down and came right into where from the parkway I saw dirt bikes so i decided to take a look. The picture where I have the left wheel in the mud and the rear of the truck is up in the air I just pulled up into the puddle and the whole truck sunk in there, I was like holly S*&@! Once I got it into 4 high and some gas I made it out and a guy in a chevy pickup yelled "Like a rock baby". Let me know if anyone wants to go I would be more than happy to show you how I got in there. Nothing serious but I had fun.

Sorry - something makes me say that. I'm used to the desert where so little stuff grows that's all extra precious.

I'll definitely try to make room in the schedule if you guys pick a date. I just have a few thing to sort out/install before I go out.

Is that the place that you can see from exit 88 on the parkway that the dirt bikes are always in? how'd you get it, theres one entrance right on 70 from what i've seen, but its a decent hump and the trucks pulling dirt bikes would never make it back.

from what i saw there is two ways in and I didnt like the first one cause you are driving in to a buisness or something I went in right past the guard rail after the cars exiting the parkway. there is a hump there but we will make it no problem i was in 2wd for the whole time til I sunk into that hole. Once your in there it seems to be pretty flat with some fun stuff. I didnt explore the whole thing but it was fun. Give me a week or so and I'm in. These bills are killin me. Almost paid off.

Trespassing anyone? They've got places like this all around an area about 15 minutes from me.. but it's Georgia Power's property. Numerous people have been cited, I believe a few arrested. One more reason to TREAD LIGHTLY!

Nah not trespassing at all. I actually talked to some of the guys out there one of them being the owner of the warehouse and him and his kids are out there all the time with no hassle from the cops obviously because the open dirt trails are part of his property. Besides that there are always people back there. IMO if there isnt a No Trespassing sign there is no harm in asking if you are allowed to explore a little. Some times around here(Jersey) There is no sign and I have explored a little and the land owner had no problem with me being there and that can also go the other way and has. This case however all is good. Thanks for the lesson in treading lightly though.
