I will be picking up a 2007 Trailblazer in less then a week. It has 171k miles on it and is in pretty good condition. This will be my 1st fun project car. It will be my daily driver so I can not do some major modifications that make it offroad only.

One nice thing is I am keeping around my old Ford Escape as a 3rd car so when I have the TB pulled apart for a modification I will still be able to get to work.

1st thing is I will be putting on a leveling kit with a small lift. 3 in the front and 2.5 in the rear. Larger tires that are more offroad, it currently has street tires, and spacers to move the wheels out a bit. I will plasti coat the wheels a nice shade of black or dark gray.

I will post progress on my project as I get into it.

Welcome Jim.

You'll find that this site has become more of a reference than an active location. The Facebook page is more active or so I'm told. If you have any questions that need a quick reply, I'd recommend going there. Otherwise, please read through the sections "stickies" and you'll find answers to questions you will be asking like you have about 18" wheels & tires.

Enjoy.

I wouldn't say more accurate. More active would be accurate however. All of the information here is just as accurate as when it was active here before. Response times to questions however are much quicker on the FB page or so I'm told. To be fair, I wouldn't know, I don't do Facebook.

More accurate was a typo haha. I meant active. I trust information here more than I trust facebook.
