My truck won't stop getting muddy?

running out of excuses as to why my car keeps coming home muddy (friends dirt driveway was wet, road work) my dad definitely knows I've been off roading but my mom hasn't caught on yet. what are yalls favorite excuses?

This, and why would need an excuse? Not like you did anything wrong, and coming up with new excuses makes it obvious that you are lying, did they pave your friends driveway? If not that one should be your catch all, or tell the truth, crazy right?

Stop washing it and you wont have to worry about explaining "new" mud.

I remember the first 4x4 I bought. It was a 1995 1/2 super cab F150, I picked it up at the dealership and went straight to the tire shop and had some Mud Kings put on then I hit the town mud hole before anything else. The first time my parents got to see my brand new truck it had scratches from bumper to bumper...
