No you are good, only swapping to the much bigger SS axle (9.5 ring gear) need a adapter 477 and shorting of DS.
Now would be good time to check the U-joins once the driveshaft is off the truck. There should be no play. If there is the OEM joints will need to be burnt out. You will see two white plastic injection spots. Heat the main body of the DS where these injection spots are until the plastic stops coming out, you will need a lot of heat, I had to use two gas torches. I had to replace my rear joint like a couple weeks before I swapped, go figure.
