Steering extention

Does anyone have a better picture of the steering extension used when a body lift is put on? Been looking and cant seem to find one.

I have a 2" body lift i just pulled off my blazer. I really cant see ordering a full kit for the envoy. I dont need bumper brackets. Im either building a new bumper or robbing the grand cherokee bumper i have on blazer to make work. Everything else i can take care of.

Try Mark he might have some or zone to buy one IIRC they were pretty tough to machine.

Thought i read Markmc got flooded, wasnt going to bother him with such a little request. I did email zone.

I read the instructions and was hoping seeing the piece, 1 have one machined, or if the steering collapses like all the rest, i could source a longer one, or piece 2 together. Sometimes, it easier to go to the u pull and rip stuff apart then ripping the daily apart.

I dont think anyone will sell just an extension honestly.

If you wanted you really could just separate the two haves of the steering and weld in a spacer like we used to with older vehicles.

Good to know. Could piece a kit together without bumpers pretty easy then.

I'm in the same boat, (buying body lift parts and putting it together myself) however I can't find anything on zone with that part number. I can only find one extension for a 94 Chevy that's $18

I just went to the Zone site. That part number didn't work for me. I don't need one, but I wanted to check before passing the information.

If you can track down the install pdf from when it was labeled under BDS, that was the part number, even then. see attached. It wasnt listed on the site. I emailed sales-zone@sporttruckusainc.com, there response was
"We can get those separate for you all you would need to do is call our tech dept to get part # 888-998-9663 ext 165"
I did , i referenced the c9212 kit, they gave me the part number, and I ordered it in same phone call, couple days later it arrived.
I jumped on the forum to share the news.
